Are you a New Year’s resolution person, maybe have an annual One Word 365 focus? I’ve chosen “One Word” for several years. Some years they have helped me finetune personal goals. (It seemed to help if I had the word of the year posted around the house.)

For 2025, I’m wondering about strengthening my resolution by simply choosing, “God’s Will.” Yes, I know, it should be a Christ-follower’s ongoing mantra. But what would change if I saw it daily, multiple times? What if seeking and doing God’s Will became more intentional?

What might God freshly start in me? What new thing might He create in me? How might a newness of life emerge during the new year?
