Teaching our kids to make beds, cook, and do laundry, all seemed like important and practical tools at the time, and maybe they were. Interwoven into the mix, thanks to God’s grace, they also learned to love others, be kind, generous, and encouraging. It’s undeserved joy to see those tools for life yielding dividends in our granddaughters.
