Maria Weston Chapman was a 19th century abolitionish, and activist for women’s rights. She made a big difference in the world around her according to several resources.

The woman at the podium in the pic is my friend, Mendi. She & her husband, Victor, are changing the world around them by teaching and ministering to the people in surrounding villages in southern Africa. Despite hostile insurgents, very limited healthcare & resources, they have not yielded their fervor for serving the Lord and His kids. Chapman’s quote fits them to a tee.
